To receive a quote for a ABS prototype (FDM Machine)

Information

To provide you with an accurate quote, we will need a solid model file to create a prototype.

We prefer you submit your files in STL file format. Please set your file resolution / cord height between 0.002" - 0.005" for best results.

Some of our customers do not have the ablility to submit in STL file format, the following formats can aid in the creation of a prototype. Please call us Toll free for assistance at 1-877-999-3687.

File Information

Preferred format:

STL

 from : AutoCAD, IronCAD, Solidworks, ProEngineer, Rhino

Workable formats:
DWG - Solid models made with 3d solids (AutoCAD 11,12,13,14) (Not AutoCAD LT)
- AutoCAD LT has no 3D commands.
- 2D drawings require 2D – 3D conversions by NineDots Inc. or Customer.
3DS - 3dStudio 4.0 or 3dStudioMAX
- Always get overall dimensions form client (X,Y,Z)
ICS From : Ironcad
IGS, SAT, STEP - These are file formats that may work but always need conversion to STL format.
DXF - As long as the information is able to convert to solid parts in AutoCAD
- Exception AutoCADr12 format because it doesn’t work properly
- 2D drawings require 2D – 3D conversions by NineDots Inc. or Customer.
